Why does the news media refer to our President as "Mr. Trump" or "Trump" and not "President Trump?" Whether you like it or not, he is our President and should respectfully be addressed as such.
Why is Taylor Swift yakked about every single time I open the "news" reports? Why do they have to draw attention to the cost of her apparel? Who cares. I consider it conspicuous consumerism. Sorry. And no, I'm not jealous. Ridiculous. And the football player boyfriend is mentioned almost as often as she is.
Let's see what else I can rant about. Here's a big one: I can't afford Mounjaro or Trulicity, which my doctor has prescribed several times. It would cost me over $600 a month after my prescription insurance company pays their share. I checked into getting it for less with a grant or coupon but we make too much money? Huh? Both prescriptions were put back on the shelf.
Something good and not rant-able: I had my nephrologist appointment today and don't have to go back for six months! The steps we are taking are working-blood pressure is under control. He reminded me not to use salt, not to take ibuprofen, etc. I already cut back on those before I started seeing him. One thing, though, is to cut back on dairy products.
We had snow the last two nights but it happened while we were sleeping. It was sunny today so a lot of it melted. Mother Nature, I don't like snow for safety reasons, but I do love watching it snow. You deprived me of that pleasure!
Rant over.
